description

This contract is for Cambridgeshire County Council only. Cambridgeshire County Council intends to maximise the collection of debts through the effective use of all available recovery options, to reduce the costs of collection and ensure a high quality Enforcement Agent service is provided.

The authority will appoint two Service Providers for the provision of the services and no part or totality of the services is guaranteed to be offered to any one Service Provider.

Requests will be issued firstly to the provider who is ranked the highest. The rankings will be based on the overall score awarded after evaluation. Therefore the higher the overall score the higher the rank. If the highest ranked provider does not have the capacity or resource to accept the request for service, the request will be offered to the next provider.

This Contract is for 3 years, with an option to extend for 1 year making it 4 years in total.

The estimated current Parking Penalty Charges recoveries for the authority are 130k per annum. However, this cannot be guaranteed future requirements.

  1. The number of number of recovery orders issued to Bailiffs over the last three years is contained in table below together with the main processing systems although providers are asked to note that the authority could change processing systems during the life of the contract as it shall be re-tendering their parking enforcement contracts.
