description
Bolder Healthier Workplace Champions - PQ0490
The Council requires a supplier for the provision of the development and delivery of the Bolder Healthier Workplace Champion programme.
This contract will be for a period of 2 +1 years, commencing March 2024 until 31 March 2026.
The Bolder Healthier Champions Programme was built on the COVID Community Champions Programme which was successful at engaging communities in action which reduced the transmission of the virus and vaccine uptake. This was achieved by recruiting members of the public and supporting them to share important messages through their existing networks.
The programme overcame barriers to health literacy, disseminating information to communities and receiving intelligence which informed ongoing public health actions.
The Bolder Healthier Champions Programme has four workstreams:
- oCommunity
- oWorkplace
- oPlus
- oYouth
To date, the Workplace workstream has been delivered within the Public Health Division. The limitations of this approach have led to the decision to commission a partner organisation via this procurement to develop and lead the delivery of Bolder Healthier Workplace Champions Workstream going forward.
