The Council are looking to appoint a contractor to inspect, test and maintain the Council's various emergency lighting systems

Additional information: The Council are looking to appoint a contractor to inspect, test and maintain the Council's various emergency lighting systems.

The service to be provided will involve multiple sites and include the supply and installation of all replacement parts and provide an emergency call out facility.

The Contract is to be based on a unit cost per visit, per site, per year. The cost per visit for carrying out the routine checks and periodic inspections and testing of the electrical installations is to be based on the gross internal area of the building under consideration.

The Contractor shall provide a full programmed regime of service visits to include undertake the routine checking, inspection, testing and maintenance of all of the equipment comprising the Electrical installation within each site as necessary to ensure its proper and safe operation.

The contract is expected to start in January of 2016.
