description

T Levels are by nature broad qualifications covering a wide range of topics. Although teaching staff are likely to be qualified in the specific subject or a closely related area, they may not have actually taught every aspect of the T Level curriculum. Lacking such experience may mean they are unaware of some common pitfalls in delivery of the subject. Similarly, they may not have studied or practised every aspect of the T Level curriculum. This may lead to gaps in their knowledge. It is essential that the T Level teachers are aware of nuances of delivering their subjects alongside being able to rectify any gaps they might have in particular subject areas within their teaching field.

To address some of the subject specific teaching aspects of the foregoing, the ETF are seeking a tenderer to generate a set of subject specific teaching tips videos for each of the T Level areas starting in 2020.

Additionally, this should be supplemented by a resource database with links and references to easily available support materials for the teacher to brush particular weak spots, overlaid with a commentary about key teaching points.
