description

The University of Warwick Human Resource has a requirement to purchase an asynchronous online training package that is capable of being deployed to all line managers within the University. The training should ensure that line managers are skilled and confident to use a coaching approach, where appropriate, in the management of their direct reports.

The University has approximately 2,500 line managers in a variety of roles from first line managers to Executive Board members in a range of academic and professional services roles. The training needs to be suitable for line managers across this wide spectrum of leadership roles and types. It is anticipated that the roll out of the training will be broadly spread across a five-year period.

It is envisaged that this training package will become an essential part of the University's recently launched Leadership and Management Framework which aims to grow organisational capability and talent through excellent management and leadership skills.
