description
South East London CCGs are keen to test the potential provider market for the Provision of Integrated Urgent Care.
The services currently expected to fall within the urgent care pathway will include, but are not limited to, the following core services:
- NHS 111
The NHS 111 Service operates within national standards across England through a local commissioned delivery model that is most appropriate for any given area.
The NHS 111 commissioning standards will apply to the services which are the subject of this process. Further information on the NHS 111 service development can be sourced through registration at: http://www.networks.nhs.uk/nhs-networks/nhs-111-service-development.
The principal aims of the proposed NHS 111 service are to:
| o | Improve the public experience accessing urgent healthcare |
| o | Get people to the right service first time, including self-care where appropriate |
| o | Provide the CCGs with management information regarding usage of services |
| o | A more streamlined patient pathway |
| o | A consistent model of care across South East London |
Potential providers with relevant capability to deliver this service are requested to express an interest in bidding for this service should the CCGs decide to carry out a competitive tender exercise and publish a Contract Notice for this requirement.
The CCGs actively encourage smaller and new providers to attend the event. We welcome interest from collaborations of providers.
The CCGs will be holding an information event on 23rd May 2017, from 13:30 to 16:30 at Max Nasatyr Room, 3rd floor, 108 Stamford Street, South Bank, London. SE1 9NH, (subject to change) which will be an initial opportunity for providers to engage in the process and to share your views. If you would like to receive an invitation to this event please send your contact details to email address below. Depending on the responses, spaces may be limited, therefore the CCG's may apply a limit on numbers from each organisation.
You can express an interest in this market testing exercise by sending an e-mail to nelcsu.clinical-procurement@nhs.net. The deadline for submitting a response for this market testing exercise is at 5pm on 19th May 2017. Your e-mail must include details about your organisation's technical capability and previous experience of delivering an integrated 111/OOH Service or similar services.
Please note that this is a market testing exercise to inform the CCGs' decision making process. This does not commit the CCGs to a carry out a procurement process.
Additional information: The market event will take place on Tuesday 23rd of May 2017 commencing at 13:30. Please see advert for venue and booking details.
