description
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STH) consists of two campuses. The Northern Campus, comprising the Northern General Hospital, and the Central Campus, comprising the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Weston Park and Charles Clifford Dental Hospitals, and the Jessops Maternity Wing.
STH Estates Directorate require the provision of cold weather salt treatment, and snow clearance when required, of the Trust's paths, walkways and roadways. This is to ensure the safe use by pedestrians and vehicles, in conditions of ice and snow, of the aforementioned rights of way, and the continued operation of the hospital facilities. Service requirements can be found in Annex B2 - Specification of the Invitation to Tender (ITT).
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
