P1110 - Lockers For Atlas Works Depot, Tyseley

The Council requires a supplier for the provision of Lockers for the new Atlas Works Depot. Construction of building will be completed 20th January 2023. Installation of lockers week commencing 30th January 2023.

Most cost-effective combination of 1, 2 and 3 nests of lockers to be put forward for both types of lockers (Drying rooms mesh lockers and Changing rooms solid lockers). Refer to plan for layout (Appendix 2, PDF and a drawing of the site is attached as separate documents in Intend).

Drying Rooms

• oTo supply, install and fix mesh style lockers to floor/wall as per attached layout plan.
• oTo measure approx. width 300mm depth 450mm height 1800mm.
• o150mm height legs with floor fixing brackets.
• oTo have fitted brackets to allow nesting side by side and back-to-back.
• oDoors fitted with hasp and staple fitting for use with padlock (padlock to be provided by client).

To include:

• o1 x adjustable shelf.
• o1 x coat hook
• oElectroplated zinc finish.

Male: Total 374 single lockers (nb 376 are shown on plan for maximisation purposes only)

Female: Total 20 single lockers (nb 21 lockers are shown on the plan for maximisation purposes only).

Changing Rooms

Supply and install solid lockable two-tier lockers with separate lockable compartments providing 2 doors per unit (for 2 x different users).

• oTo be fixed to floor/wall.
• oTo measure approx. width 300mm depth 450mm height 1800mm.
• oDouble coat hook in each compartment
• oCarcass ventilation.
• oManufactured from zinc coated steel with an epoxy powder coated anti-bacterial paint finish.
• oCorrosion resistant.
• oDoors to be vandal/twist resistant.
• oMoisture resistant camlock to be supplied with 2 x keys.

Male: 219 Two door lockers (438 locker spaces total).

Female: 32 two door lockers (64 locker spaces total).

The installation of the lockers in accordance with the specification below must be completed no later than the 4th of February 2023.
