0-19 Health Visiting and School Nursing in Dorset

Public Health Dorset commissions a range of Public Health Services on behalf of the Local Authorities in Dorset,and in partnership with the Dorset CCG and NHS England. Public Health Nursing services, including health visiting and school nursing, support more than 150,000 children, young people and their families across both urban and rural areas.

The authority has decided to develop a procurement for a Pan-Dorset 0-19 years Public Health Nursing Serviceformally Health Visiting and School Nursing services. To support the procurement planning process consultationis being sought with potential delivery organisations.

We are inviting capable organisations to meet with the Public Health Dorset Team during July. We want to know your views on how the service outcomes could be achieved. Consultation appointments have been made available during July 2018. These appointments will be an opportunity for organisations to share their experiences, explore opportunities within the ambitions, and to ask questions of the authorities commissioners. A summary of the service function, objectives, and proposed outcomes has been prepared along with a questionnaire to inform the consultation discussion.
