description
Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust ('CPFT') are inviting expressions of interest for the supply, on a term rental basis, of a range of high & medium capacity Networked, Individual User Access, Multi Function Printers (MFP's) solutions for use in a range of shared services offices. The proposal will also be likely to include a range of Medium & Smaller Output Office (Desk Based) Networked Print options. The larger machinery will often need to deliver mono & colour printing in some areas. A4 & A3 paper stock is used regularly in larger machinery locations. Some of the largest capacity users require duplexing & other added value services.
CPFT are actively working toward delivering a Consolidated Patient Record Interface for its clinician & record management teams. As such expressions are particularly welcome from technology suppliers that can accommodate the ease of Patient Record or Clinical Note Scanning into a format that is sympathetic to the transferral of such data into proprietary Electronic Patient Records systems, particularly those such as 'Rio' & 'EMIS'. Such advances are of particular interest provided the technology is already proven in an NHS or National Healthcare Provider environment. Other technological features that would be of interest include 'Dashboard' type ease of access for Asset, Consumable & User Consumption as well as cost efficiencies in Consumables Costs &/or Waste & Cartridge Recycling.
For reference purposes our current rental arrangement comprises a fleet of approximately 290 machines on a Print Managed (click) charge basis whereby CPFT maximises its sales tax (VAT) efficiency. Intended Expressions should be made from an organisation capable of ultimately offering similar services including a provision of Inks/Toners & other consumables (excluding paper stock).
A prerequisite of any foreseeable proposition would be the supplier ability to comply with a consistent High Level of Service Support including, but not limited to, the capacity to Manage Machine Breakdown & Maintenance in a timely professional manner across a large, rural county (Cumbria).
Additional information: Expressions of Interest are sought on the strict understanding that this Invitation Does Not Constitute an Offer or any other Intent To Conduct Business Transactions in this matter. CPFT are exploring the technological & other benefits available to their possible future circumstances without any inference that it intends to contract with a supplier. Any & all costs incurred by the Interested Party or their agents in the preparation of materials & response to this Notice is done so at the expense of the Interested Party & remain non recoverable from CPFT.
