description

The University of Warwick, WMG, has a requirement for a cryogenic ultra-microtome that will allow precision sectioning of both polymers and nanocomposites such that high-resolution TEM imaging can be undertaken on materials that are soft at room temperature and thus provide further information on the nano scale on the materials. The system must have automated controls and reliable temperature control even at very low temperatures and section down to 70nm.

Suppliers are invited to submit bids for a suitable system.
