description

This research project aims to use a variety of qualitative and quantitative approaches to explore, and identify where possible, the main causes and consequences of fly-tipping in England, with regards to environmental, social, and economic factors. Defra seeks to identify and explore the success of interventions aimed at tackling fly-tipping. These findings will be used by Defra to inform policies and interventions aimed at preventing fly-tipping. Research projects will therefore also be expected to give consideration to what further measures may be successful in tackling fly-tipping.
