description

The scope of the contract is to design, manufacture, supply, test, deliver, install and commission subject to a performance specification a double multilayer monochromator (DMM) for the DLS beamline B21. The DMM will require two flat, highly polished, multilayer-coated silicon substrates in order to select X-rays within a continuous range of energies 8-18 keV with a relative bandwidth on the order of 1% and with high efficiency.
