The Natural Environment Research Council, National Oceanographic Centre, have a requirement for 8 No. RAFOS submersible devices / floats. Sound projectors which generate a swept frequency signal. Self-powered, with an accurate clock to maintain synchronisation and moored in a minimum depth of 2000m, up to 6000m, allowing real-time underwater tracking.

This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Services e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite. If Bidders have not yet registered on the portal this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the 'Supplier e-Sourcing Registration'. Please note that to register Bidders must have a valid DUNS number for the organisation which you are registering. Once you have registered on the e-Sourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. If you have not done this already please follow the guidance: This is done by emailing ExpressionOfInterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done.
