Newlon Housing Trust, Vertical Transportation/Lift Consultancy 2015- 2021

Newlon is a not for profit, charitable housing association founded in Hackney in 1968 to provide local people with decent and affordable homes. This remains our core mission. In partnership with our Group members, we also aim to provide people with the additional care and support they need to live their lives as successfully and independently as possible.

We have three key objectives which we are aiming to meet by 2022: •To provide at least 2,000 new affordable homes for people in housing need. •To continue to improve the services we offer our residents. •To help 1,000 residents not currently in work into employment.

Our Property Services department have a requirement for a vertical Transportation/Lift Consultancy service, that can help us to deliver an improved lift service for our residents and perhaps make a contribution towards the employment of our residents. We have a requirement for a vertical transportation/lift consultant who is experienced and qualified to provide the services below within a public sector/housing association context. We are looking to appoint a consultant for a six year period, starting in the summer of 2015 on the re-procurement of our lift maintenance contract and providing other services for a five year period when the maintenance contract 'goes live' in 2016.
