The British Council would like to commission a UK higher education institution or organisation to develop a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the topic of academic readiness for international students embarking on degree-level study in the UK. This short preparation course should focus on helping international students prior to undertaking an overseas study opportunity by equipping them with the necessary academic skills needed to succeed in UK higher education. The academic readiness MOOC will be hosted on FutureLearn and should be effective at relaying key information, but at the same time provide an engaging and interactive learning experience.
