Southwark Council is looking to commission an individual or organisation to manage our Primary Schools in to Theatre programme. Southwark Council is looking for an individual or organisation to deliver the council's Fairer Future commitment to:
'...ensure that every primary child gets a free visit to the theatre every year'
The aims of this unique and ambitious programme are:
| • | To ensure every primary child gets a free visit to the theatre every year. |
| • | To support Southwark's theatres existing work and encourage development of a meaningful programme that facilitates a legacy of on-going relationships between schools and theatres. |
| • | Further deliver the council's culture strategy, Creative Southwark. |
Our primary aim is to ensure that schools develop a relationship with Southwark based theatres, however venues outside of the borough can be explored if they can offer a unique and inspiring theatrical experience that will benefit primary school pupils.

Open Day
We are also hosting an open morning at the Southwark Council Offices, 160 Tooley St, SE1 2QH, on Monday 3 June, 10am - 1pm. There will be a short presentation and then an opportunity to attend one to one meetings with staff from the Culture Team.
