Maintenance, Annual Certification & Defect Rectification of Four (4) Coastal Patrol Vessels

Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office.

UKBF operate a fleet of four (4) Coastal Patrol Vessels, equipped and certified to Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) MGN 280 Workboat Code of Practice, (HSVC) Category 2, for service in waters up to 60 nautical miles from a safe haven. All Four (4) CPVs have a requirement for a programme of Maintenance, annual certification and also some defect rectification.

The requirement is split into four (4) Lots, one (1) per CPV and bidders can submit a quotation for a single lot or multiple lots. Each Lot will be evaluated individually and the fact that a Bidder secures one Lot does not mean that it will secure any other Lot which they have bid for.

This contract will commence in Feb 2018 following a sourcing exercise based on written quotation. The purpose of this document is to make the Statement of Requirements available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the work package. Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Janine Melia, Home office Commercial: Janine.Melia@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing the itemised quotation and also confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard short Form Services Terms and Conditions on which the contract will be awarded.
