Thermo Isotope Ratio instrument bundle (Quotation UKSOP-19654)

Bundle includes 3 DELTA V Advantage Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers (HD Ready) with the relevant prep and linking (conflo) modules, and data management, to form the following system combinations:

1. Trace gas analysis. The GasBench II and Trace Gas Precon will enable analysis of 13C in CO2 and CH4, 15N in N2 and N2O, 18O in CO2 and N2O.

13C in Carbonates is also offered using the included Carbonate option.

Additional collaborative work is proposed to develop unique capability to analyse 2H in CH4.

2. Flash EA (including pyrolysis reactor); bulk isotope analysis of (for example) soil, plants, biota for: 13C,15N, 34S, 18O, 2H. An included amplifier kit will also enable analyses of these at high enrichment for tracer experiments.
3. Trace GC/ISQ 7000 hybrid GC-MS/IRMS and GC Isolink (including 15N option) to enable 13C and 15N analysis and identification of individual compounds separated by the GC
4. Standalone Vanquish Core UPLC system for quantitation of known compounds in aqueous solution/extracts.
5. Standalone EA analyser for CNS analysis.
