Tenders are invited for the provision of for the management of the Councils' fleet tyres including the supply of vehicle tyres and related, ancillary products and services for a variety of local-authority vehicles. A complete definition of the required products and services are defined in the procurement documents. Services include, but are not limited to: (a)	ensuring that vehicles are in a safe and legally compliant condition at all times (in respect of tyres and ancillary components);
(b)	attending to vehicle breakdowns resulting from tyre faults and rectifying these faults; and
(c)	rectifying any damage consequent to tyre faults such as punctures; and
(d)	monitoring tyre condition for wear and damage on a routine basis; and
(e)	supplying and replacing tyres which have reached or are nearing the end of their usable life; and
(f)	carrying out any ancillary (to tyres) services required such as:
•	tyre disposal
•	tyre valve and valve extension replacement
•	wheel balance
•	calibration and adjustment of vehicle tracking
•	turn on the rim and twinning
•	tyre re-treading and grooving
•	fitting wheel nut indicators or ring clips as required by the Councils
