RFI for additional capacity in diagnostics and across a range of specialties

Request for Information (RFI) by Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex, High Weald Lewes Havens and Brighton and Hove CCGs

The CCGs are considering commissioning additional capacity for the following diagnostic modalities:

X-ray, Non-obstetric ultrasound, echocardiogram, MRI, CT and endoscopy. To include direct access diagnostics for GP referrals where appropriate

The CCGs are considering commissioning additional capacity for the following specialties:

Digestive Diseases, ENT, Gynaecology, Neurology, Ophthalmology and Urology

The CCGs are considering commissioning additional capacity in the following models:

Option A: Complete pathways; from referral, through treatment to discharge, including any necessary diagnostics, in one or more specialties from the list above

Option B: Community based assessment and diagnosis, followed by either discharge to referrer, treatment or onward referral for treatment, in one or more of the specialties listed above

Option C: Community based diagnostics hub providing one or more of the diagnostic modalities listed above.

Option D: Mobile community based assessment, diagnostic and treatment service in one or more specialties from the list above

Please note that this is for capacity over and above that already provided.
