DesBox is a complex of light industrial / artisans' studios constructed from repurposed shipping containers. Each studio unit is formed from one, two, or three 40' containers with the connecting sides removed to form the workspaces.
The work included within this specification is:
•Thermal insulation;
•Metal studwork, plasterboard wall and ceiling linings;
•Lighting and small electrical power circuits;
•Installation of kitchen units and water heaters;
•Installation of toilets;
•Skirtings and other trims;
•Decoration;
•Floor coverings
