EBC PR Procurement of Play Equipment & EPDM Surfacing at 4 play areas

Elmbridge Borough Council is approaching the market seeking for the replacement of play equipment and associated EPDM surfacing at 4 sites across the Borough. The contract is to commence on 09 August 2024. This opportunity is being split into four distinct lots to be installed between September - October 2024. To be considered for each lot, suppliers are expected to visit sites prior to submitting a detailed response to ensure they satisfy themselves with details and submit a bid with exciting and challenging play equipment, sustainable that ensures compliance and value for money:

• oLOT 1 - Churchfields Recreation Ground - removal of the existing multiplay unit, trim trail, smaller equipment and associated surfacing, and replacement with new exciting equipment to match the existing play area.
• oLOT 2 - Hersham Green Open Space Play Area - Removal and replacement of the Cable Runway, Climber (Space net), 2 springers and associated EPDM surfacing.
• oLOT 3 - Hurst Meadow Play Area - removal of 2 swing units, one multiplay unit, one seesaw, one springer and associated surfacing, and replacement with exciting new equipment and associated surfacing.
• oLOT 4 - Long Ditton Recreation Ground - removal and replacement of 4 seated springer seesaw and associated surfacing.

All works must be completed by 31st October 2024.
