WDC-Contract for provision of services relating to Ad-Hoc Asbestos Consultancy

WDC are seeking the services of an Ad-Hoc asbestos consultancy to ensure asbestos legal compliance is achieved in all WDC’s property portfolio and ensure Asbestos Management Programmes are managed and delivered effectively in risk category Occasional advice required as a sanity check to procedures and work flow issues for contractors.

The Consultant will be called off on an ad hoc basis to develop existing asbestos management systems and implement any changes to improve effectiveness of current arrangements. In particular, look at efficient methods for sharing information across WDC and with contractors. Note the majority of this is now in place with the Teams information system which is shared with all of our contractors on both PC and Mobile devices.

As part of the role it will require analysing existing asbestos surveys and identifying where resurveys, remediation’s, removals are required using a risk based approach. Implementing and managing a prioritised programme of resurveys. Currently taking place with the information provided by the teams system and alerts for the resurveys and removal and programs
