Strategic Workforce Planning Tool

The Strategic Workforce Planning Tool (SWP) project's vision is "to enable visibility of our capable, available and agile workforce and support short, medium and long-term workforce planning by providing accessible data, management information, gap and trend analysis plus scenario planning facilities at all levels of the organisation, through a single route."

The project intends to implement a tool that supports strategic workforce planning activities, so the we have the right people, in the right roles, with the right skills, at the right time and cost for current and anticipated or forecasted demand. The SWP project is made up of two principal services: resource demand and resource supply and the tool would include functionality to enable resourcing, strategic planning, scenario modelling and succession planning activities to be performed.
