description
NHS Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Council, NHS Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group are exploring options on how to re-commission Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (Tier 2/3).
The key objective is to commission a more comprehensive, integrated and joined up primary and specialist child and youth mental health service. The new service must eliminate barriers between tiers; work in much closer partnership with schools, the local authority and voluntary and community sector; and provide support which is available in community settings. This represents a further shift away from a medical based model to an increased focus on early intervention and prevention, whilst ensuring that those who require specialist mental health support get timely access to evidence based treatment and interventions that work.
In order to assist with their decision making process, we are looking to establish what interest there might be in providing such a service from suitably qualified, capable and competent organisations.
Please note this Early Engagement Notice has been issued purely to gauge potential interest in the service, and at current is not part of any formal procurement process.
Interested parties should note that a response to this Notice does not guarantee being automatically invited to any subsequent formal procurement, which the commissioners will consider in due course.
Interested parties are asked to complete and return the attached provider sounding questionnaire by the return date of 27th May 2016 at 12:00pm to the following email address: procurement@swcsu.nhs.uk
Any queries should be directed to Rebecca Harris at the same address.
