Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

Installation of a domestic/residential wet pipe sprinkler system to BS 9251:2014 where the pipework is charged with water at all times with a new GRP tank to be installed in the existing tank room. The tank will have a dedicated lockable isolation valve. A branch will serve the sprinkler pump and connect to a fire pump set. From the sprinkler pump set, dedicated sprinkler pipework will then connect to a sprinkler control valve set on each floor, to each flat, in the lift lobby area. From each flat's sprinkler control valve set, pipework will then be installed to each flat. A sprinkler panel will be installed in the ground floor lobby area. The new sprinkler system will include provision for remote monitoring of both fire signals (i.e. sprinkler system activation) and of any fault that occurs on the sprinkler system.
