description
Lymm High School is an 11-19 mainstream secondary school and sixth form, located on Oughtrington Lane, Lymm. The site consists of seven blocks, including an on-site leisure facility & swimming pool (which is open to the local community out of hours). There are 23 acres of grounds including an all-weather 3G pitch and sand-dressed artificial turf pitch.
Lymm High School was constructed in several phases and is built around Oughtrington Hall which is designated in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade II listed and completed in 1810. The school was enlarged around 1965 and had further significant extensions between 1994 and 2002.
Lymm High School has a strong tradition of providing outstanding opportunities for young people and an incredible success rate in future employment, university placements and training.
The school ethos and environment are the foundation for learning and enjoyment. Our staff are fully committed to the highest standards, and this is evident by the ever-increasing number of students attending university, particularly Oxford and Cambridge. Examination results are consistently high and, to develop students, we offer an excellent range of academic subjects, supplemented by a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
Lymm High School has a long-standing and strong tradition of sport, with regular participants in national competitions. The physical education programme is wide ranging, which includes approximately twenty-eight (28) acres of playing fields, a sports centre and outdoor centre in Anglesey.
This Further Competition is issued in relation to the YPO 000881 Grounds Maintenance and Associated Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), procured by YPO in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This Further Competition will involve inviting tenders from all suppliers who were successfully awarded onto the relevant lot(s).
