description

Worcestershire County Council wishes to encourage residents to reduce the amount of residual (non-recyclable) waste that has to be disposed of by the County Council and thereby save disposal costs. The County Council recognises that it needs to continue to innovate if it is to continue to improve and meet its ambitious waste and recycling targets.

WCC is looking for a service provider to manage a pilot reward points campaign to start to achieve these savings. The campaign will cover four main areas; reducing food waste, waste minimisation, increasing recycling and decreasing contamination.

The pilot will take part in the borough of Redditch.
