description

The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) is made up of 44 academies spread across the South East of England and split into 5 regions - TKAT Essex, City, East, Central and Coast.

This tender has a two fold purpose to set up a framework agreement for Catering Services which all TKAT academies can access in each of the 5 regions and to appoint a service provider for the academies in the TKAT City Region for whom contracts (in the main) need to be awarded for the commencement of the 2019/20 academic year.

TKAT City Region covers academies based in the Bexley, Bromley, and Swanley area of Kent and consist of 4 primary academies and 3 secondary academies.

Additional information: The Framework Agreement will consist of 2 lots. Lot 1 - Primary Academies and Lot 2 Secondary Academies.

Organisations may submit a bid for either Lot 1 or Lot 2 or both, to gain a place on the Framework Agreement, subject to their ability to meet the service requirements and the relative volume and value of the required catering services academies.

The further competition for the City Region has 2 lots - Lot 1 Primary and Lot 2 Secondary.

A second bidders briefing has been arranged for 10:30 hrs (10:30am) am on 2 April 2019 at The Kemnal Technology College, Sevonoaks Way, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 5AA and bidders are strongly recommended to attend this event.

Required site visits by bidders will then take place for the further competition for the City Region following the bidder briefing on the 2 April 2019 and on the 3 April 2019. Details of the site visit schedule are included in the procurement documents (Invitation to Tender).
