Supply and Installation of Camping Pods at Runways End Outdoor Centre

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the supply of Supply and Installation of Camping Pods at Runways End Outdoor Centre

The general scope and requirement of the contract will be to supply and install 10 insulated framed structured camping pods which will provide accommodation for short term breaks in a campsite environment at Runways End Outdoor Centre, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU11 2RE.

The contract will include the supply and installation of 10 insulated framed structured camping pods equipped with under floor or alternative heating facility. The total area involved will be approximately 1200m2 of the existing campsite. The Pod design is to be innovative, in keeping with the indicative design given planning approval. It must also be complimentary to and blend in with natural rural surrounding.

Estimated budget is within the range £110K - £140K

Each unit is to provide suitable short term accommodation for four persons and consideration will be given to include provision for ambulant users and vision impaired users. Pod specification to include provision to meet appropriate Building Regulations Approved Document M - Access to and Use of Buildings - particularly for ambulant disabled persons, to at least one pod.

The Contract will commence on 17th September 2018 and will be for a period of three months.

Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire, and complete and submit the tender return document together with any supporting information requested by 14.00 on Monday 13th August 2018.

How to obtain the Tender Documents

The Tender documents can be accessed when logged into In-Tend by selecting 'View Details' on the relevant tender advert and clicking the 'Express Interest' tab. Once in the tender there are five tabs - 'Tender', 'ITT - documents', 'Correspondence', 'Clarifications' and 'History'. Select the 2nd tab (ITT - documents) where you will find useful information under 'Tender Details' continue to scroll down to the heading 'Tender Documents Received' where you will be able to view / download the documents.

Opting In and Out
