KMCCYP-113 - In Care Support Programme

The Council of the Borough of Kirklees' Learning Service (the Council) are inviting quotations for the In Care Support Programme (the Programme). This Programme is to be delivered covering the school academic years in 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, a contract duration from 1st September 2016 to 31st August 2018. The Council at its sole discretion may extend the contract period for a further two successive annual periods. The In Care Support Programme (ICSP) Programme (the Programme) requires the provider to directly contact the schools/education providers that are attended by Kirklees Council's looked after children, to support the Virtual School in meeting its statutory functions relating to education provision, attendance and performance. The programme requires daily calls to schools/education providers to ensure that issues are resolved promptly via daily dialogue between the provider and the school/education provider, the Virtual School, social workers and carers. Kirklees Virtual School takes seriously it's responsibility for safeguarding these often vulnerable children - the programme plays a key role in meeting this responsibility. We are inviting quotations to deliver the programme.
