Provision of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations Authorising Engineer and Written Schemes

The University of Birmingham has a requirement for the Provision of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations Authorising Engineer and Written Schemes.

The contract requirement includes the following (not exhaustive):

• oProvide for a monthly visit by the Competent Person (Written Schemes PSSR) with a further option for two monthly visits should this be chosen by the UOB.
• oTo review the status of existing WSE (PSSR) and amend existing schemes as required.
• oTo update Inspection Procedures (PSSR) as required
• oTo review Inspection Reports and report back at monthly compliance meetings as necessary.
• oTo update Inspection Procedures as required.
• oTo include all offsite work to a maximum 2 days per month.
• oCarry out a review of the role of the site Authorised Persons as requested.
• oTo provide unlimited telephone support for any queries relating to PSSR.
• oTo attend monthly compliance meeting as arranged.
• oTo advise on PSSR requirements for new equipment /projects.
• oTo provide onsite assistance with the Prime software as required.
• oLink PSSR Inspection reports to Prime Assets (Where received electronically.
• oLink supplied documents to Prime assets.
