description

The Competition and Markets Authority, requires an academic expert to provide technical advice to economists on econometric and other related economic analysis on a recurring basis and across the full range of projects the CMA undertakes. Econometrics is a particularly technically challenging area of work, and therefore we must rely on expert technical support. The fast pace of many of our cases implies that we cannot rely on procuring a different advisor with that specific expertise for each project. Additionally, this type of analysis usually feeds into wider projects in very specific points, and therefore expert input is concentrated on an area of work rather than on specific projects or cases throughout their duration.
