Tender Process for West Suffolk Council Compliance Garages

The purpose of this procurement is to seek approved testing centres for delivery of West Suffolk Council's designated Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Test:

Testing centres must ensure that taxi tests are undertaken in line with the following key documents:

• oWest Suffolk Council Compliance Garages: Short Form Supply of Service Contract
• oThe West Suffolk Council Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Inspection Form
• oThe West Suffolk Council Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Trailer Inspection Form
• oThe West Suffolk Council Guide for the Inspection of Taxis & Private Hire Vehicles

The tender process will go live on Suffolk Sourcing on 12 August 2024.

Garages that wish to apply will need to respond to submit a bid through the Suffolk Sourcing platform.

As part of their application Garages will be evaluated based on the responses submitted.

Applications will need to be submitted by 18 September 2024. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Responses will be assessed against the garage's ability to comply with the Council's standards as set out under West Suffolk Council Compliance Garages: Short Form Supply of Service Contract.

Any questions or clarifications should be sent through by the end of 16 September. Complete applications must be submitted by 15:00 on 18 September.
