Early Years Funding Software

Torbay Council Early Years' Service needs to procure a new on-line electronic hosted system for administering funding claims and associated processes, for children attending a funded place in a childcare provider in the local area. A new system is required to replace the current system, which is due to be decommissioned at the end of 2019. The system is a vital tool for the service and will be used to administer funding payments totalling around £5m annually. The Council's Early Years' block of the Dedicated schools grant (DSG) is also reliant on the information within the system through the annual census process.
