GB-Braintree: Strategic Flood Risk Assessment

Braintree District Council is requesting quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (Levels 1 and 2), to cover its administrative area.

The study will form part of the evidence base for the Council’s emerging Local Plan. The Local Plan will cover the period to 2033 and will replace the existing adopted Local Plan Review 2005 and the Core Strategy 2011 which are presently adopted. Consultants will be expected to produce a report sufficiently robust to be used as Council evidence at the Local Plan Examination in Public and for Planning Appeals.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
