GB-Downe: Downe, St Mary's Church

Religious Building Construction Work. Historic building repair contract for grant aided conservation of grade II* Listed Church. Work including: Repairs to roofs and rainwater goods and associated miscellaneous works.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.

The contract will be awarded on the basis of 60% for the tender figure and 40% for the quality of submission. The following information must be sent with the expression of interest:

1. Proof of current memberships to building conservation organisations.

2. Evidence of a proven track record of conservation repairs on ecclesiastical and listed buildings and ancient monuments including three examples demonstrating experience with conservation repairs to tiled roofs and cast iron rainwater goods.

3. Construction Industry Scheme registration number.

4. Health and safety record.

5. Statement of business structure with staff numbers and qualifications, annual turnover for the past three years.

6. Demonstration of experience in the role of Principal Contractor under the CDM Regulations.
