CP1719-19 Refreshments Vendor Based at Stover Country Park

Stover Country Park is managed by Devon County Council (DCC) for the benefit of the local community as well as wildlife. It is the intention of DCC to provide the many visitors of Stover Country Park with a high-quality refreshment provision, subsequently, Bidders are invited to submit a quotation through a Request for Quote document. The successful Bidder is required to provide hot and cold drinks, along with various hot and cold food options, as well as ice-cream and ice lollies.

There is an area within the car park, close to the entrance of the Stover Country Park, where the successful Bidder will be permitted to operate no more than one catering outlet on any one day. The size of the outlet must not exceed seven (7) meters in length and the successful Bidder is permitted to leave their catering outlet at Stover Country Park overnight during the licence period. Any vehicle or catering outlet sited at Stover Country Park will be solely at the owner's risk and no liability will be accepted by Devon County Council for any theft or damage which may occur whilst the outlet is so parked. There are no mains services on this site.

As a service provided to the public on behalf of Devon County Council, the successful Bidder must develop and maintain excellent customer service relations and customer satisfaction, as this will contribute towards visitors' experiences of Stover Country Park. Devon is a Fairtrade County and Devon County Council works with Fairtrade Devon to promote the benefits of Fairtrade, as such there is an expectation that the successful Bidder will promote the use of local suppliers, Fairtrade and local ingredients where possible.

How to submit a completed Request for Quote (RFQ) document -- Once the RFQ has been completed this must be submitted as an email attachement to stover-refreshments@devon.gov.uk. Full submission details are provided within the RFQ
