(NU/1164) - Provision of Laundry Services to Accommodation & Hospitality Services

This Contract is to process (wash and finish) and transport (collection and return) linen items which are:

in accordance the service requirements as detailed in Section 3.

The Contract will be divided into two lots:

? Lot 1 - Carlton Lodge

11. double ensuite bedrooms, 3 twin ensuite bedrooms.

Uses the University?s owned satin stripe bedding.

Carlton Lodge is used by paying guests and the standard of accommodation is that of a quality hotel.

The service would be required throughout the year.

? Lot 2 - Other accommodation sites.

Approximately 4900 rooms. To use linen hired by the University from the Contractor.

The service would mainly be required during the period June to mid-September but may be required less frequently at other times throughout the year.

The Contract is to commence 1 June 2016 for an initial 12 month period, with options to extend for 3 further 12 month periods, subject to the delivery of a satisfactory standard of performance of its obligations under the Contract by the Contractor.

A four storey property situated in close proximity to the University Robinson Library.

Lot 2 - Other accommodation sites.

Up to 20 properties, 5 situated on Campus with others between 0.4 miles and 3 miles from Campus.
