NOTE: This notice was updated on 22 March 2023 for the following reason: This addendum notice has been issued to update the details of the site visit which is now scheduled to take place on the 4th April 2023 due to the original date of 21st March 2023 being cancelled. Interested parties should advise of their intention to attend the revised site visit on Tuesday the 4th April 2023 by Friday 31st March 2023 on Delta eSourcing. The deadline for expressing interest and submitting a tender for this requirement has now been extended to the 19th April 2023 at 10:00 hours to accommodate the rescheduled site visit date.(This tender is for the refurbishment of Isle of May Beacon, a property owned by the NLB consisting of lighthouse and associated buildings on the Isle of May, Firth of Forth, latitude and longitude 56.1833° N, 2.5667° W. The beacon was built in 1636 and consists of random rubble walls covered with a lime wash harling. The lighthouse and The Beacon (former Lighthouse) are both category B listed. Maintenance work required consists of applying Corisilk lime paint to external walls, re-paint window frame and general maintenance repairs. Key Dates, to be confirmed, are site set-up and mobilisation from 29th August 2023 with completion and site clearance by 31st October 2023. The beacon can only be accessed from mid-February to mid-April and from end of August to end of October. The site is boat access only. A site visit is schedule for Tuesday 21st March 2023 which is the only date available and cannot be re-arranged. Attending the site visit is a compulsory requirement for submitting a tender and confirmation of attendance must be provided by Friday 17th March 2023 through the Delta eSourcing Portal.)
