The STFC's ISIS Facility at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire is a leading source of pulsed neutrons and muons. The facility performs cutting edge research into the structure and properties of materials at an atomic and molecular level. It is the most productive research centre of its type in the world. Each year we welcome around 2000 visiting scientists who complete over 600 experiments.

ISIS Heavy Gang requires a cherrypicker in order to safely carry out work at heights.

The purchase is being put out to tender to ensure that ISIS gets the best value for money and the correct specification unit is purchased. The unit must meet height and reach requirements and must comply with modern safety standards with all warnings and safety features included.

The unit must meet specification and performance specified in all areas of operation.
