description
Tamworth Borough Council manages the delivery of adaptations to its residents through both the mandatory Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) for private residents and adaptations to Council homes for tenants, using the criteria laid out within the Housing, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 to determine eligibility. The Council is in the process of mobilising enhancements to further develop its adaptations service for residents. These enhancements will offer improvements to the speed of delivery, consistency, and quality of adaptation work and importantly improved health, wellbeing and quality of life outcomes for residents that collectively contribute towards the vision of:
