Birmingham City Council invites companies to submit a quotation for the Provision of Repair and Maintenance and servicing of its fleet of approximately 20 leased Mercedes Trekka and Sprinter Passenger Carrying accessible minibuses with rear passenger lifts and an additional 20 second hand disability adapted minibuses further approximately 20 leased vehicles which are currently in the process of being procured. The vehicle make and models are currently unknown but will fall into one of the three categories below:

  • Long wheelbase high roof, windowed panel van conversion
  • Long wheelbase high roof windowed coach built conversion
  • Long wheelbase high roof windowed low flat floor ramped vehicle two or three axle with lowering suspension.

The successful provider must have a minimum of three year’s experience in servicing these types vehicles.

The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for a further 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and business need, commencing on 1st July 2016.
