livin has for five years invested in links and projects with local primary schools throughout our core operating area and view primary schools as vital to sustaining communities and improving the lives of families. Success historically has been achieved through family learning, breakfast clubs and other projects in primary schools. This commission will continue to progress and build on this track record.

Youth engagement is essential in area based regeneration schemes where it is identified as a particular issue through our local knowledge and community plans. A minimum of three regular and attended youth interventions should be delivered in three communities at any one time in targeted regeneration communities.

livin also recognises the importance of supporting local stakeholders such as secondary schools in improving communities.

Innovative programmes and initiatives are sought that can deliver in the pre-school environment and primary schools settings that will improve family relationships as well as act as a pathway to further improvement in learning and employment for children and adults, project based youth work with an emphasis on health, mental wellbeing and skill development, and support the national curriculum, adding value to schools. livin's success is based upon excellent partnership working. It is expected that partners will embrace local partnership working, and have a demonstrable track record of successful and fruitful partnership working.
