description

SECAmb (South East Coast Ambulance Trust Foundation) is requesting information (RfI) regarding supplier capabilities for Medicine services to help inform its medicines strategy. This is not a scored exercise and the results of this RfI will identify whether a full and formal tendering process would be undertaken.

SECAmb are looking to potentially re-provide its internal medicine ordering, packing and distribution services which is currently provided in-house. Suitable interested parties should refer to the attached documents to understand our requirements and provide details of the services they could provide, in part or whole i.e ordering, packing and distribution.

At this stage in the process we are investigating whether there are suppliers in the market who can provide the services described in the attached specification.

SECAmb is flexible regarding where or how the service is provided and would consider possible joint ventures for providing services either within SECAmb's estate or completely remote.

To confirm this ITT is a market testing exercise only at this stage, to assess the level of interest in the market for providing all or part of these services.

SECAmb thank you for your time and assistance.

Additional information:

The Trust is seeking outline proposals from suitable interested parties to re-provide its internal medicines ordering, packing and distribution services which are currently provided in-house.

Looking for indicative proposals and costs only at this RFI stage. This is not a tender exercise.

We would welcome proposals for all (i.e. ordering, packing and distribution) or part (i.e. packing) or parts (i.e. packing and distribution) of the service.

The Trust is flexible in terms of where, or how the service is provided and would consider possible joint ventures for providing services out of the existing SECAmb Estate or completely remote.

The Trust is looking to receive outline proposals and indicative costs at this stage to help inform its medicines strategy. If successful a full and formal tendering process would be undertaken to identify and contract with the successful partner.
