description

NHS Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) is seeking to commission a new service to complement and add value to current neurodevelopmental pathways. Feedback from families and partners has highlighted gaps in current provision, e.g. pre-diagnosis support for families. The commissioned service will focus primarily (but not exclusively) on supporting families where there are concerns/needs in relation to: • autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) • attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) • sensory processing disorder (SPD) It will offer support to families from when any concerns are identified (prior to any diagnosis), throughout any diagnostic assessment and beyond. The service should provide information, support and intervention that is up to date, evidence based and in line with national guidance including NICE guidelines. It should provider a flexible, accessible offer that complements current pathways and enables families to have a better experience of services. Working in partnership with families and other professionals (co-production) should be at the heart of the delivery of this service. The service will initially be for a period of 12 months with the option to extend for a further 1 year
