Collection and Boarding of Dangerous Dogs NSP

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk and The Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk have a requirement for the collection and Kennelling of Dangerous Dogs seized by Police under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (or other legislation) from a police station or other locations within the Norfolk and Suffolk Police Districts.

The kennel facility must have appropriate security measures in place and meet the requirements as outlined in the contract specification. Suppliers will need to meet relevant legislation and hold relevant licencing to collect, and kennel seized dogs. Fully licenced under the Boarding Establishment Act 1963 and Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

The service must be provided 7 days a week, 365 days per annum (366 days per leap year)

Please see the Procurement documents for full requirement details. There is no guarantee volume or obligation of usage from the Authorities to board any dogs, there will be no form of exclusivity to the Kennels by the Authorities.
