Somerset County Council are looking to procure a library stock management software system allows the library service (on behalf of the LibrariesWest Consortium and other Local Authority Library Services) to manage library stock effectively in all library sites with minimum staff intervention, using evidence based reports to transfer non issuing stock to new locations, aid de-selection and empower library staff to engage with library stock, therefore covering the legal requirements of the council to provide a comprehensive and efficient library service.
