Salford Priors Parish Council is looking for an innovative scheme which will provide additional play / fitness opportunities and challenges for children, teenagers and adults alike.
The scheme should demonstrate that each item of equipment and the overall design:
- Offers physically challenging play and exercise which will develop physical strength and ability
- Encourages social interaction between all age groups and abilities
- Offers a range of opportunities for play and exercise which will include balance, coordination, strength and aerobics
- Is designed to be inclusive where possible
- Makes the best use of space available
- Is attractive to other users of the playing field
- Should seek to enhance its setting within the existing landscape
- Employs natural materials as far as possible and must blend with style and 'feel' of existing playground equipment
Requirements include:

Outdoor gym
Trim track
Multi-goal / basketball set
Enhancements & repairs to existing play equipment
